Timing for mbox based products showing up in Target UI Product Catalog

When using targetPageParams or targetPageParamsAll to add entity attributes to an mbox, how long should it take for the product to show up in the Target UI product catalog?

It seems to be very inconsistent and sometimes can take several hours/overnight for the products to show up in the UI.
