One of my activities is not being pulled into A4T

Hello!

I have set up three activities on my website - all have identical tracking configurations set up in Target. When pulling up an Analytics for Target panel, I can only see two out of the three when selecting a Target activity.

Any insights would be appreciated!

@JamesEl6 did you just create te third activity? It takes some time for it to show up in Analytics after you create it. A4T is basically applying SAINT classifications from Target to the Analytics report and they take a while to populate.

Hi @JamesEl6 ,

I agree with @kandersen. That is one of the reason if you have checked all the configuration.

Potential reasons why Target activities might not appear in Analytics reports:
  • Incorrect Report Suite:
Verify that the report suite selected in your Target activity settings matches the one used in your Analytics test page.

  • Data Stitching Issues:
Check that the visitor ID (mboxMCSDID) sent by Target matches the visitor ID (sdid) sent by Analytics in the browser network requests.

  • Target Call Order:
Ensure the Target call is executed before the Analytics call on your webpage.

  • Classification Delays:
Sometimes, Target might take time to classify data, so wait a few hours before checking reports.

  • Access Permissions:
Verify that your user has the necessary permissions to access the required Target metrics and dimensions in the Adobe Admin Console.

  • Activity Status:
Check if the Target activity is currently "live" and not paused or archived.

    How to troubleshoot:
    • Check Target Activity Settings:
Open the Target activity and review the report suite selection in the "Reporting" settings.

    • Inspect Network Traffic:
Use your browser's developer tools to examine the network requests and verify the mboxMCSDID and sdid parameters are correctly passed.

    • Review Analytics Implementation:
Double-check your Analytics code on the page to ensure it's correctly integrated with the Target implementation.

    • Contact Adobe Support:
If you've checked all settings and still cannot see the Target data, reach out to Adobe customer support for further assistance.
