When setting up an A/B test using the Manual option for traffic allocation, I can select from a list of custom metrics that we created in Adobe Analytics as the primary goal while I couldn't find any custom metrics when I chose the Auto-Allocate option.
We need to use a custom metric in Adobe Analytics as the primary goal because a single success event is not sufficient for our requirements. Additionally, I am unsure if it is possible to combine multiple success events into a single goal for a Target test.
Could you please advise if it is possible to use custom metrics in Adobe Analytics for the Auto-Allocate feature in Adobe Target? If so, how can we configure this? Alternatively, is there a way to combine multiple success events into a single goal for use in a Target test?
Many thanks

@harryhoang93 based on my understanding auto allocate does not support custom metrics and it supports only built-in conversion rate or revenue. In case you find any solution or approach share it here
Yes, it is possible to use custom metrics from Adobe Analytics in the Auto-Allocate feature of Adobe Target through the Adobe Analytics for Target (A4T) integration. To configure this, you need to ensure that the custom metrics in Adobe Analytics are set up as success events, which can then be selected as optimization goals within the Auto-Allocate setup in Adobe Target.
Alternatively, to combine multiple success events into a single goal for a Target test, you can create calculated metrics in Adobe Analytics. This involves combining multiple events into one metric, which can then be used as the optimization goal in your Target test. Both methods allow for a flexible and tailored approach to testing and optimization, depending on your specific needs.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks.
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any calculated metrics in Adobe Analytics available for Auto Allocate on my end. However, these metrics do appear when I choose Manual Allocate. Could this be a bug or possibly an account limitation?
Additionally, regarding the option "To configure this, you need to ensure that the custom metrics in Adobe Analytics are set up as success events, which can then be selected as optimization goals within the Auto-Allocate setup in Adobe Target," do you have a link to any instructions on how to create success events based on custom metrics? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Did this ever get resolved? I'm facing the same issue with Auto-Allocate. I created the metric I want to optimize off of in Analytics, but it is not available from the Auto-Allocate options. Thanks.
