What happens when a HTML element I remove using VEC - remove element is not present on the page?

Hi Guys,

I have been asked to setup a test to remove a module from the product page of our website. This module is only present on for certain product pages meaning it does not show up for all the product pages.

I was wondering if I use the VEC - remove element feature, what will happen when the module or the element is not present on the page. Will this break the page or will Target ignore it and load the page as usual?

Regards,

Hi Suchindra,

If the element that you are trying to remove from multiple pages is not present at all on some pages then in my understanding there would some failed actions on those pages from target however the page would be loaded as is.

Thanks
