In my interactive form, there are bunch of fields, including drop-downs.
I am prepopulating/defalting STATE drop-down with some value from the data source/data view, say for example, the deaulted state is 'NY'.
This STATE drop-down settings object palette is,
- Allow custom text entry (user, can over ride the defaulted/prepopulated value, say, user can change from NY to CA)
- Commit on "SELECT"
- No list items specified
- No Validation patterns
- User Entered - optional
- No tool tips, nothig else!
My issue: After launching the form in the browser, user will see STATE as NY in the state, fine.
If user puts cursor on this drop-down field, either on N or Y of NY or
If user dropS-downs the list/opens the drop-down list to see all the possible listed values
and in next step, if user EXITs from the STATE field, and clicks any where in the form (say, in next feild - COUNTRY or open blank/emplty spave or any where in the form) that NY value is getting DIS-APPEARED!! in the list it will be there, so, if user again drops-downs and selects the NY again, and exits from the STATE field, it again dis-appearing!!
If user, not at all ENTER/EXIT/TOUCHES that STATE field, its retaining its NY value, fine.
Pls. let me know Why value is DISAPPEARING if at all user TOUCHES that field?
