I'm a newbie with LiveCycle and Guide Builder. Everything seems to be going fine in GB until I preview; a window opens in my browser (tried Firefox and IE) but all I see are the background color/s. No text at all.
My form is in JavaScript. I've also tried with sample forms with no luck.
This is probably a very easy fix that will make me feel even more stupid but right now it is driving me nuts!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Trying to determine which version of Guides you are using. Are you launching the Guide Builder from Designer or are you building the Guide in Workbench?
Stupid question ....did you install the Flash player on your machine and which version do you have?

Hi Paul,
I'm launching GB from Designer ES 8.2 and using Flash 10,1,85,3.
I read somewhere to use JavaScript not FormCalc so that's covered. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am thinking that the version of Flash Player is not supported with that version. You might want to check the help to know what the proper version of Flash Player that is needed. I also seem to remember that there was a service pack created to allow the newer versions of Flash Player to work correctly .....but my memory isn't what it used to be.

I think there were 3 service packs for for your version of Designer ...I woudl check those out and see if one of them addresses the problem ....I seem to rmember that SP2 was the one that allows for future versions of flash player.

I'll check the service packs.

Thanks Paul. I'm not completely sure how or why the problem was corrected, but it seems to be working.
