I really need help setting up an incremental invoice number if the top right field on this PDF form.
I need it to increment the number each time the form is opened, and I understand it needs a database of some sort to get this from and put the next number for the next time it gets opened. The number needs to be in the format of 0001, then next time 0002 etc. We can use either a text, sql or access database.
Once the form is completed, the print buttons needs to go to print menu, the email button needs to lock all the fields and the invoice number so that when we send it to our clients it keeps the same invoice number and attach it in an email. The reset button allows us, once the invoice is emailed, to clear all the fields ready for the next invoice use.
