Setting up SSL for Livecycle ES Update 1

Hi all,

I have hit a network challenge and I am not a network guy.

One of your customers have set up their LC server (windows 2003 turnkey install with JBOSS) in the DMZ (don't ask me why).

Now they want to be able to access Workspace and the processes through the SOAP endpoints.

So here goes:

What we need is to access Workspace over SSL and the sustomer has bought a certificate that should work for a dmain called

https://workspace.company.dk

Now I need to setup JBOSS/Tomcat to be able to handle the incoming traffic for the above domain.

How can I do this?

I have read through both the Administering LiveCycle ES http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_lc_administration_82and http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/8.2/securityHardening.pdf but these do not describe my challenge nor my setup.

I hope you can help me out -please don't hesitate to ask for any details

Thanks in advance

Sincerely

Kim

Kim,

Take a look at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/enabling_ssl_jboss3.2.5.html

While it defines the steps to create and deploy a self-signed cert, it should provide what you need to deploy your cert to JBoss.

Hi all,

i m in a critical situation. so please help me in this issue.

We have a server wher livecycle is running in Jboss. We configured it for SSL. To that machine, we have added two domains, take for example:

https://test & https://test.testing.com

The problem we are facing is, we are not able to access https://test.testing.com, but we are able to access https://test successfully without any problem.

We have done all the steps that are mentioned in the article (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/enabling_ssl_jboss3.2.5.html)

Now i have few questions for which i need answer.

1.) If SSL is not enabled properly, how come for https://test its working & for https://test.testing.com, its not working?

2.) Can we have domain names (https://test & https://test.testing.com)tied to a server? Is this causing problem.

3.) Will there be any problem in certificate that we deployed.

4.) Need a Reply/solution for this ASAP.

Please dear members, help me in configuring this SSL.

Regards,

Vignesh
