Send Silent HTTP Submit

I am developing a form that requires POST messages to be sent to my server yet every time I send a POST message the pdf opens a new document with the results of the POST.  Since there are no results this is unnecessary.

How do I suppress the creation of this server response document?

FormCalc has a POST function that might do what you want, there is an example in this sample Adobe LiveCycle Designer Cookbooks by BR001: Calling a RESTful web service from a PDF form.
