script editor font install

i need to input Korean, Japanese into the editor.

each time i paste those characters into the editor, they can be correctly displayed.

however when i shift to "preview PDF" and come back, there's only monster character like squares.

how can i install font to editor?

these fonts are already installed and they are correctly displayed in the design view.

Hi,

the Script Editor uses Courier New by default.

To change it you have to modify the ScriptEditor.ini file which is located under your User Account's folder.

You'll find this text line

where you can replace the font name with the name of another installed font such as Arial.

When you start Designer next time the Editor uses the new font.

If this has no effect on the behavior the editor displays the characters, you also may try to set the font support for GB18030 or HKSCS.

Go to Extras > Options > International > Select Font.

You need to restart Designer to apply the changes.

for the second method, i couldn't find the Extras tab.
