restrict user to type into date field , only select date from popup

Hello everyone ,

I have a DateField .I want to restrict user to write or type into date field.

User only select date from popup date picker , user cannot write into that field .

How can i add this functionality ?

There's no built-in date picker in Acrobat PDF forms. However, some people developed their own and offer them for free, or not for free.

There are such pickers from FormRouter, PDFScripting and Max Wyss. Search around and I'm sure you'll find them...

Was this question ever resolved? I'd also like to force users to use the date picker, instead of manually typing the date in, if at all possible.
