Problems with creating dynamic tables

Avatar

Level 2

Hi

I'm new to acrobat, and I'm having some trouble creating tables that grow using the add buttons.

I've tried using the help file, but i cant seem to get it to work. The add buttons do not work, i've used the java script. If i place a remove button it gives me some error when i click on preview pdf.  Can someone tell me where i'm going wrong. I'm attaching the file.

Only one thing missing:

- sf2.Table2.Row1 must have the ‘Repeat Row for Each Data Item‘ selected

See if this is what you wanted.

What i did:

- The parent subform must be flowed and no positioned.

- The type of document must be dynamic and no static (on the form porperties).

- I changed the script to be on the click event instead of the initialize.

Hope this helps.

okay, based on your suggestions i tried to create a second table.. it isnt working.

This time though, can you post how to correct those mistakes rather than just attaching the corrected file? It'll help me understand where i'm making mistakes.

Here's the second file
