Problems tabbing in to a form after clicking F5 (\'Preview Tab\')

It's as simple as this >> I can't [TAB] in to a form when clicking F5 (to 'run' the form within LiveCycles 'preview' mode)

I hope someone has a suggestion/solution with respect to this odd phenomenon experienced when testing (running) Designer forms by clicking [F5] and then pressing [TAB] to test various field events in the form.

HERE'S WHAT I KNOW

When using ADOBE ACROBAT PRO XI or ADOBE ACROBAT DC and working with LC Designer 11.0.1 there is a problem (or what amounts to a time consuming/unnecessary inconvenience?) with testing my forms with the 'Preview Tab' (F5). So here goes with a step by step characterization of the issue:

(1) On any given day, I am used to clicking [F5] and then pressing [TAB] to test various field events in the form.

(2) In ADOBE ACROBAT PRO X (or previous versions), the form tester clicks [F5] and then clicks [TAB] repeatedly to navigate sequentially through 'open' fields / objects in the form.

(3) When using ADOBE ACROBAT PRO XI or ADOBE ACROBAT DC, when the form tester clicks [F5] and then clicks [TAB] repeatedly NOTHING HAPPENS!!

> To solve this the tester MUST <left mouse click> on the form (presumably giving the form some sort of ACTIVE or FOCUS state) and ONLY THEN can you click [TAB] repeatedly to navigate sequentially through 'open' fields / objects in the form.

>> Although it seems to be a petty complaint, it stops me from using newer versions of Adobe Acrobat (I'm STILL using an old ADOBE ACROBAT PRO X license in combination with LC Designer 11.0.1 because I find this ^change in behaviour^ frustrating and inexplicable in the context of testing a form design up to 150 times a day).

I feel certain this must be a niggling complaint for others. Are there any straight forward solutions (perhaps it's as simple as changing a security setting in one of the newer versions of ACROBAT?)

Can someone out there suggest a better fix than the one outlined in STEP 3 ( <left mouse click> )?

I sure hope so. David
