I've recently moved to Windows 7 and am having trouble being able to preview forms in LiveCycle. I'm also getting an error when I open the in Reader XI. I'm not sure if these errors are related to W7 or XI.
I'm currently I running version 9.0.0.2.20101008.2.720808
Also, below is a message I'm starting to see when opening up old forms.
Invalid enumerated value: validationState - The fault occured on line 114
Any ideas how i can get everything compatible?
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi,
there should be not problem using LCD ES2 (Version 9) on Win 7.
Where do you see that error? In Reader or Designer?
Do you have such old form available to share it?

Attached is the form. I even upgraded to Adobe Pro XI.
enabling extended features is a little different...
I click on file>save as other>Reader Extended PDF>Enable More Tools
Not sure is that is the correct method or not.
The email functionality works fine for me but another using opening in adobe XI reader - email functionality doesn't work.
Link to file below.

Hi,
I checked your form in Acrobat XI, Reader 9 and XI and LiveCycle Designer and I did not get any errors.
Please post a screenshot of the error you're seeing.

I wold like to add that when the user clicks on the "send by email" button it only takes the user back to the Outlook Screen. It does not open and email and attached the form like it has done previously.
Thanks PC

Sorry,
I cannot reproduce the problem.
Both buttons in the form work for me.
What about the error you talk about in your first post?
Where do you see that message?

I'm not getting an error message anymore. Not sure if that is because of my upgrade to Adobe Pro XI or upgrading the service pack on ES2. I'm still however gettting multiple users that have lost the email functionality when the upgraded to XI reader. They don't get an error message they just return to the Outlook screen whey they click the button with the email script.
