I've imported a MS Word template into Livecycle including the drop down fields. However when the drop down field is chosen it automatically fills in the drop downs in different areas of the form. The fields all have the same name however they are to reflect different processes. Does anyone happen to know how I can stop this from happening?
Sounds like perhaps the fields have the same name in the hierarchy. And perhaps the data binding is set to global. The fields should all have unique names unless you want the data to repeat, and the binding should be set to "use field name."
Thank you Geneveve for your response. Does it matter if the text next to the field object is the same for different areas if I make the object name different?
