In a drop down list, previously users could type the initial of a value to select

[mdawn50]

Now that isn't working and I don't know what changed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure if I understand correctly.. But using Designer 8.2 you can have a DropDown with values in it and type the first letter in the Drop down and it will highlight the Drop down option that starts with that letter.

But if you have checked the "Allow Custom Entry" checkbox then it will not work that way. You need to uncheck this option to make it work.

After you uncheck this, users can only select from the available options. They can not type in a custom entry.
