My company finally purchased a subscription to the creative cloud and I happily downloaded Acrobat XI. It wasn't until I went to update some forms with LiveCycle, -- an app that I had previously purchased as a part of Acrobat X, that I learned that installing XI deleted the app from my machine. The next surprise was to find out that Adobe sells LiveCycle as a separate product and -- surprise -- it isn't a part of the Creative Cloud subscription. The icing on the cake is wandering through the LiveCycle ES site and trying to figure what I need to purchase to add form fields to my existing pdfs.
Let's call the cherry on top the fact that there's a free upgrade to Adobe Designer BUT that expired in October 15, 2012??
