How to modify the vertical aligment of textfield??

I wanna set the vertical aligment of a textfield into "TOP", instead of "middle"(by default)... since i m trying to make it like a textarea, but i don't want it starts from middle....  is there any way to do that?

It is as simple as you change your Paragraph option.......

Select "Window>>Paragraph" (or Shift+F5) once the Paragraph pallet is open change your settings....
