German Umlaut does not work with host.response Deutsche Umlaute

I would be grateful for an answer.

My mistake in scripting or European bug? In the end, the problem seems to be known even thoug I do not find an answer.

I just tried it on my machine and got the same behaviour ...I would open an incident with support.

support incident is opend on Sept. 14th 2009.

There is no answer yet.

Do you have any idea how to identify the response and change it to German Umlaut.

The interesting is the behavior of the new field when you enter/exit it.

1. Enter "Hölle" into the response box

2. Umlaut is cut-off in message box

3. and the returned string in the textfield is it even more.

4 but wait, when the field has focus, the string partly reappears.
