Fillable PDF formatting not working

When I paste from an Excel file (or any other source) into a fillable PDF I created, the text is not formatted into the style I set in the PDF text boxes.

Clear formatting doesn't seem to do anything either.

Does anybody know why this is happening?

Hi, e you pasting into the form template (at design time in Adobe Designer) or are you pasting into the form in Reader/Acrobat.  If the later have you set the text field to "Rich Text"?
