Delete folder using LiveCycle File utilities

Hi,

In my process I write documents to a local drive inside a folder and I need to delete the folder after the completion of the process. When I try to use the Delete module from the file utilities it fails to delete a folder and when I put the file path in the input variable it delete it.

All I want is to deleter the entire folder, any help will be appreciated.

Hi Sabdelza,

Is your target directory empty ?

If not, you first have to delete all the files and subfolders from it then only you can delete that directory.

My target directory is not empty, it will have PDFs inside the it. So my process is the user will select the documents need to me merged together thru a web interface and I collect those documents and I create a folder and write those documents to a shared drive and I merge them together using Assembler. As soon as Assembler is done I need to delete this folder with the content inside it.

Abhinav's  statement is right.

Create a loop to delete all documents and then attempt to delete the folder.
