Conditional Table Shading

Is it possible to shade a table column in LiveCycle designer based on the value derived from a previous radio button group?

Perhaps some additional information will facilitate some good ideas.

The table is static (fixed number of rows and columns). I am willing to code individual cells in the table if necessary to achieve desired effect.

Each node in a xfa form can be accessed through Javascript DOM api. Refer to the designer's help topics.
