Which version of LC Designer you are using?
You have several options to do so....
1. Select the main subform , goto BORDER TAB , then u'll find an option called Background Fill. Select ur color in that background fill.
2. Take a Rectangle object. Drag it from the top to the bottom of the form. Right click on it and send to back. Now select the rectangle from hierarchy and add color to it.
3. You can also create master pages of different color using any of the above options and then can associate the master page with different pages for different color.
