Bug in LaunchPad Service

Hello!

As mentioned in the documentation I added a <role> entrance to the RM component and created a new role via adminui and I assigned it to one user.

I still get the RM service displayed in the launchpad for all users loggin on to it.

Is this a bug?

No you will see the service but won't be able to use it.

Alas this is not the case. I was able to use the component as a user not having the role assigned.
