I am a new user to Adobe Acrobat and have learned how to create fields, but now I am looking to create barcodes in Acrobat.  Where would I begin to learn that?  Also, I did try to create a barcode with an existing form, and when I tried editing all the possible form fields showed up, and it was at that point that I attempted to enter a barcode, but a window came up to say I needed to purchase another license to be able to do this

Back before I retired, I was in a job that used a barcode scanner to track shipping and receiving

Scanning in FedEx & UPS labels was easy, then I had to create my own destination pages to track where I took a box

To do that I searched and found a free barcode font that I installed in Windows, to then create a document with a barcode associated with a human readable description
