Hi,

i have designed a PDF in LC ES4 with English and Arabic. Now the Adobe Reader requires to install the LANG pack.

i have another PDF which came out of InDesign with the same Arabic Font, this one does not require the LANG pack.

How can i avoid in the download of the LANG pack and still display my PDF correct in the Adobe Reader ?

any hint is helpful, thank you

Dieter

Hi Bruce,

thank you i did this without any effect. The only thing i found is that you need to select the "Adobe Arabic Font" it would not require the language pack to download. Any other used Arabic Font would require to download the LANG PACK from Adobe.

regards

Dieter

Hi Dieter

In Designer under File ... Form Properties ... Save Options , there is an "Embed Fonts" option, does selecting that help?

Regards

Bruce
