A simple question,but I don't understand.

I check the LC JavaScript Reference, and find there is no parameter with saveXML,but I find a lot of people using saveXML with parameter "pretty"?

what does this parameter mean?

The saveXML method allows you to point to a node in a DOM (data, layout or form) and copy a string that represents the node and all children. It allows the developer to see the structure and the contents of the XML. Because it is a string it has no CR LF at the end of each line. The "pretty" option puts in the CR LF chars to make it easier to read.
