Using insecure protocol

Hi,

I'm testing Adobe Policy server on my machine. It works when I lock the document to use policy server. I can connect, create policy and apply it. But I cannot open the saved secured document. I get message "You are attemping to connect to an APS using an insecure protocol ...". But I have configured policy server on https port 8443. And I can see the communication to that port. What is wrong?

I use latest Adobe Acrobat 7.0.8.

The problem is very likely that you misconfigured the "Server URL" in the Policy Server Web Console.



Login to the web console as the Administrator and go to:



Configuration->Server Configuration



Ensure that the "Base URL" is also set to a HTTPS address.



The Base URL is used to create the URL that is baked into policy server-secured documents, so it is important that this URL is both correct and something that will be around for a long time to come.
