Setting the WSDL address of a web service connection

Avatar

Level 3
Hello all,

I was just trying to modify the WSDL location of a configured web service connection via script. I don't have any problem in finding the respective property, but it seems like it cannot be modified.

,

Acrobat's script console doesn't display any errors, but I feel like I'm trying to set a read-only property ;-)

Is there any way I can achieve what I want?

Thanks a lot,

Steffen.

What command are you using to set the wsdl?

In the XML source the 4th line is an xfa-template version ...what is it set to?

The template version is set to 2.6.

In the code, I'm trying something like xfa.connectionSet.myService.wsdlAddress.value = "...";

If I read this property, I'm getting the configured address, I just can't seem to modify it.

Change the template version to 2.5 and try again

Thank you for your suggestion -- but that doesn't seem to work either.
