Populating data in xml forms

Avatar

Level 2

Okay, i have a problem with importing xml data into forms.

I have one pdf form with me, and I have multiple data forms which are numbered (Their filenames are 1.xml, 2.xml.....). Now i need a macro in the form which will load data based on an input, for example, type in the number to load the data. The pdf form and data files can be put in the same folder.

Is there any solution to this?

Prashant.

You shouldn't consider Livecycle Data Services to do so.

LiveCycle Forms provides Java API that can merge PDF forms with XML data (RenderForm method). This LiveCycle components produces interactive PDF forms.

If you need to produce static PDF files merging a form and XML data, consider LiveCycle Output ES.
