Linked Adobe Designer to MS Excel

I was wondering whether it is possible or to link Adobe Designer to MS Excel.If it is possible, can some one please show me how to accomplish it.

I'm trying to create a data connection in a form in Adobe Lifecycle 8.0 to acces an Excel file. I have done the following":

1- Created the spreadsheet with tha data that I need

2- I created the ODBC(System DNS)

3- Start creating the data connection and select the data source but when try to select the Record Source nothing appears to be selected.



What am I missing?



Please help me.
