Image Field Issue

We have a form(XDP file)desinged using Adobe Designer 7.0 in which elements are bound to an xml file.

We have an Image field on the form, the source of the field is a URL.

Image is displayed when the form is viewed using Adobe Reader 7.0 .

It is blocked when viewed using Adobe Reader 8.x.

Is there any setting in the newer version of Adobe which would prevent that ?

We are encountering the same problem with Reader 8. The image field which we are using for display purposes only will allow a user to browse to a file and display it correctly. However any javascript on the initialize event will not correctly display the image. We have tried multiple methods such as this.resolveName("#value.image").href and this.value.image.href and although they work find in Reader 7.x they all fail in 8.x.
