Execute .bat within a PDF

Is it possible to execute a script/batch file within a PDF with the result returned to a field on the PDF?

No. You can execute a BAT file via Execute Menu Item actions, with

suitable warnings of course, but there is no way to read responses.

Sorry, I mean that you can execute a BAT file from an acroform. From a

Designer form I imagine you can't do that.
