I have tried installing using the copy of LiveCycle ES we have on the network, the copy we have on an external hard drive and have even logged into the partners portal and downloaded a fresh copy of LiveCycle ES and every time I attempt to install it I get the following error:
"The installer directory does not match what is on the DVD. Installation will now terminate."
this error generally occurs when the entire installer directory structure is not copied to the location you are installing from. The directory structure should contain [additional,livecycle_server, and third_party] folders.
Thanks for the answer. I've found that if I copy just the "server" subdirectory the installer won't work. What's the reason that all the DVD contents must be in the same directory? Just curious.
Glad you were able to get things going. During some installation scenarios the installation actually copies files from the third_party and additional folders, therefore we require the folders to be there.
