enable usage right with Reader Extensions

I am trying to enable an end-user to submit a form as a pdf. I have added a submit button, set to submit as a pdf, and entered my email address for submission. I read somewhere that in order for a user to submit the form, they must either have Acrobat Professional or I have to enable usage rights with Reader Extensions. I am not sure how to do this and cannot find it on the forum. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance for the advice.

Hi Cara:

Reader Extensions is a server based product from Adobe. You can get a development license of LiveCycle ReaderExtensions using the Developer Toolbox http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/toolbox/index.html. Note, this requires membership into the Enterprise Developer Program, with associated cost. Once you have reader extensions installed, you can access reader extensions using http://<serverName>:<portNumber>/ReaderExtensions. Then you can apply reader extensions rights onto a PDF document.

Let me know if you need additional information.

Thanks

David
www.ensemble.com

This is not quite right. The user needs either Acrobat Professional OR

Acrobat Standard. The free Reader cannot submit as PDF (unless

LiveCycle Reader Extensions is used, typically at a cost of tens or

hundreds of thousands of dollars to offset the "lost sales of

Acrobat")
