Email Submit Button issue

I created a form in LiveCycle and placed an Email Button on the form. However, when you open the file as a PDF and click the Submit by Email button, the file that is emailed is an XML Dreamweaver file, which I can't read!! How do I get the file to send as a normal PDF?

The email submit button is set up to send only the data (in XML format). If you want to send a PDF, you can delete the email submit button, then put a regular button on the form. Set it to be a submit button, then in the submit to field se it to mailto:mailaddress. Now you have email functionality. To submit the PDF, change the Submit As dropdown to PDF. Now it will email a PDF to the address specified in the mailto: URL.
