Email form and not XML

How do I set the email button so that the form is mailed and not the data in XML format?

Hello,



Use a normal button, then select "Submit" as the control type (radio button selection). Click on the Submit tab. Under the Submit Type dropdown, select PDF and then in the submit to URL type in mailto:emailaddress@email.com.



I am sure the form also needs to either be reader extended or you need to be viewing the form with Acrobat (not the Reader) for the PDF to be sent (since the data is saved within the PDF).

Hello and thanks for your helpful response.   I did try that URL pattern but I think I may need more specific help.  When I used the URL type you suggested, LiveCycle returned an error message literally displayed below.  It allows me to click OK to proceed but then does nothing.  Could I be leaving something out?  Many thanks for your help. JRG
