Custom Authentication

How is one supposed to use custom authentication for Enterprise Domains?



In the page

Home > Settings > User Management > Domain Management > New Enterprise Domain

When I click on Add Authentication, and select Custom in the drop down and click on OK button, nothing has been added to the Authentication Providers list in the Create New Enterprise Domain Page.



Can some please guide?

I realize that this is an old post, and you have probably moved on, but in case anyone else has the same problem. Here are some things to check:



There are a couple things you can check:

1 - make sure your service is not only installed, but activated (this is the "is your computer on" part :-) ). You will need to restart the app server after it is activated.



2 - You need an implementation of the LifeCycle interface. There is a sample in the SDK folder. This class will need to be in your jar file.
