changing from Static to Interactive

cross-posting as I managed to put this in the FAQ folder ...

I just spent a heck of a lot of time creating my first form in Designer (I'm in Windows). Sent it to some co-workers as a test (they have Adobe 7, not Reader). They cannot save the PDF, only the data. Looks like it's because I saved it as a Static PDF? When I do "Save As ...", though, I don't see "Interactive" as an option, only "Dynamic," which doesn't seem to work either.

Any thoughts how I can save it as Interactive, so they can save the form and then e-mail it back to me as an attachment?

Many thanks. So sorry if this has been covered, I did search but could not find anything ...

Hi Jennifer - Static or dynamic should work for you from the sounds of it - are you sure they're using Acrobat and not Reader?

Reader wouldn't let you save the filled-out form, only email back the form data if you put a button on the form to do that, but Acrobat certainly should let you save the file.
