Change code calculation based on dropdown selection

Andrea Swiney - 09:01am Jul 30, 2008 Pacific

I've got two separate forms that both work right now with all the correct FormCalc calculations. I'm wondering if there is a way that I can combine them into one form.

If I would combine them, I would have a field called TYPE that would have 6 choices in a drop-down list. If the user chose three of these options, a second field called PAYMENT would be calculated based on a certain block of code (that is currently working in the separate forms). If the user chose one of the remaining three options from the drop-down list, the PAYMENT field would calculate differently based on a second block of code (that is also currently working in the separate forms).

Is there a way I can accomplish this or do I just keep them separate?

Thanks!

P.S. -sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong place earlier. Trying again here.
