Change certain dropdown selections to red, or flag another way.

I have been messing around with the xml to try to get one selection in some dropdown boxes to either be red or attract attention in some other way. I'm not a programmer, so I'll need some in depth instructions or a sample.

The dropdown colors are all or nothing ....everything is red or nothing is red.
