Call webservice from Adobe form

Sorry if this is the wrong forum.



Question 1:

1. Is it possible to call a webservice with parameters from a standalone adobe form and subsequently write a status message to the end user according to the response from the webservice?



Question 2:

Would this scenario be possible (without forms server, etc. We only use Adobe forms standalone).



1. User open Adobe form.

2. User click submits button.

3. The Adobe form is sent as attachment to recipient based on selections in form.

The short answers to your questions are:

1. Yes. (But the form must be opened in Acrobat, or must be ReaderExtended.)

2. Yes. The data will be submitted as xml data, either via http, or as an attachment to an email.
