I am using Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES4 to protect my documents for distribution. However, there are some situations that I am running into that have posed a problem. Specifically, I need users that have protect view and users that use Firefox / Chrome to be able to access the documents. I have seen this article XFA-based PDF forms and policy-protected documents not displayed that seems to indicate that XFA is my problem here. When I apply a flattening technique (like making the document PDF/A or by printing to PDF), I have no problem opening them using the browsers or in protected view, but then it does not allow me to apply rights to the document. Is there any solution to get around this? Thank you for the help!
