Does AEP Support IBM COS using Flow API

Hi Team,

I am trying to connect IBM Cloud Object Storage  to AEP as source to collect the data. I tried flow API also but still have problem. Any insight anyone has done that.

@RISHIMA3 Is the requirement to ingest batch data set? If yes, drop files from IBM COS into AEP’s Data Landing Zone (SFTP) via automated transfer OR use an intermediate cloud storage or ELSE try stream records from IBM COS using AEP’s HTTP Streaming Source API or Edge Ingestion API.

@RISHIMA3 multiple way to do this,

• Quickest is land files in a supported storage (S3/Azure blog/data landing zone in AEP)
• Use Self-Serve Sources (Sources SDK) to author a private connector for IBM COS (batch or streaming)

  • Batch - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/sources/sdk/overview
• Skip these and using AEP's Batch or Streaming APIs (HTTP API)
  • But this would be a push approach, not sure if IBM COS can call AEP's REST API directly to push into data or you have to use other AWS services like Lamda/Fargate to pull data from IBM and push into AEP.
