Hi Experts,
We have pushed an audience from Snowflake to AEP, and in AEP source dataflow, we are able to see same amount of records as in Audience in snowflake.
Same amount is ingested in AEP Dataset as well.
However, in the AEP audience, count is reduced to half.
The dataset consist of segment membership map, but I'm unable to find AEP audience ID in its list.
I would like to better understand how audience filed work in AEP Audience. And where can I check for the descripency.
Thank you!

@ShivaniM We have few different ways we can bring External Audience into platform, please do specify your process to help more on this front.
#Few Options
1) Importing through custom implementation using Segment Definition and Segment Membership map (hidden approach)
2) custom CSV upload (documented)
3) Federated Audience composition(beta)
Just in terms of checking segment membership, please do use query service to query on dataset containing segment membership ingested to get more details.
~cheers,
Naresh Nakirikanti.
Hi,
Could you explain a bit more on how option 1 works? I've been looking for details of this approach but couldn't find any clear answers. I wanted to avoid downloading audience files to my local laptop and upload, thus I'm looking for a more robust way.
Thank you in advance!

Hello @ShivaniM
When data is brought into the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) a dataSet is defend and data is written into the AEP datalake. The dataset and schema can be marked for profile. When the object is marked for profile segment can be created.
There are few factors which can impact the 'count' of an audience when it is prompted from the datalake upon profile.
1) Can you confirm all of the records ingested into the datalake are for a unique customer(s). Are there duplicated customer records in the file?
Can you please provide an screenshot of the issue?
