XMP write-back process crashed

Hi,

I have followed the steps on this article https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/enable-xmp-write-back-64-bit-redhat.html to enable the XMP write-back on 64-bit RedHat Linux. We are using the AEM 6.1 SP1 installed on Redhat 7.2.

But when I tried to upload the image and test the XMP writeback, I noticed that the XMP writeback process failed with the following error in the error.log.

09.07.2016 02:14:31.119 *ERROR* [JobHandler: /etc/workflow/instances/server0/2016-07-09_1/update_asset_1:/content/dam/geometrixx-gov/online.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/original] com.day.cq.dam.core.process.XMPWritebackProcess Process crashed <12531>

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

although the instructions say 5.5+, apparently they are still valid for AEM 6.1, if you followed all the instructions and it's still not working, I'd suggest raising a daycare ticket.
