Workflow packages folder disappeared

Hi,

In AEM 6.1 Classic, we normally have the following folder structure: Tools > workflow > packages > individual packages for each update. Today we are experiencing an issue where the packages folder disappeared from the site. I can see the packages folder and all the package updates under it in CRX in  /var/audit/com.day.cq.wcm.core.page/etc/workflow/packages

Any idea how we can make the packages folder visible again?

Does the structure in /var/audit/... contain all packages or just audit informations about it? In the first case someone must have moved it using CRXDE Lite (it's not possible with the classic UI authoring interface). In the second case it's just the information that something has happened there, but probably you cannot recover them without restoring a backup. Or if you can live without the packages, you can recreate /etc/workflow/packages with the nodetype "sling:folder".
