Hi

I have added Allow permission on "/content" path with restriction as rep:glob="".

What will be the effect of this restriction.

If you want to restrict the access to content on an AEM publish instance[Grants read access to a set of users/groups. Denies read access to all other users/groups.] then use Closed User Group.

Could you please brief us about the requirement.

Below is the ACL -

Could you please check the Groups tab whether that user is a member of any other group or not -

Understood. You are trying it on AEM publish instance, right?

if I do the same thing on AEM publish instance then I am getting similar ACL under permission tab like you -

I have noticed this ACL level difference between AEM author and publish instance associated with everyone user group.

On publish instances use CUG to restrict user to access content.
