What is the effective permission of below user?

I have added Allow permission on "/content" path with restriction as rep:glob="".
What will be the effect of this restriction.

hi @debal_das so why this difference in auther and publish? So do you mean wiith publish instance restriction wont work?
If you want to restrict the access to content on an AEM publish instance[Grants read access to a set of users/groups. Denies read access to all other users/groups.] then use Closed User Group.
