We are trying to connect Adobe Acrobat DC with CQ5 (AEM DAM) and getting below error.

Tried with Adobe Acrobat DC free trail version

The link that you have shared is from 5.x versions, check this - WebDAV Access

I'm not sure but may be you could use AEM Desktop App for this use case -
